Battersea Brands Hatch is inviting cat lovers to get crafty The world’s first interspecies knitting club in Kent is being launched at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home where animal lovers can spend time with feline friends and create don-knit-tions for the charity’s homeless moggies. The Worshipful the Mayor of Dartford, Councillor Ian Armitt, is inviting Dartford’s residents to wear their poppy with pride and join him at this year’s Remembrance Day Parade and Service. Poppies will be available from sellers around the Borough from Saturday 24 October with all proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.
