Artists welcomed to Dartford this Summer

Dartford town centre will welcome four artists who have been invited to create artwork and organise activities for residents and visitors during the summer including performances, film screenings, walks, textiles and much more. The four artists, all of whom live or work in Dartford, have been drawn together by Dartford Creative – an arts initiative set up by Dartford Council and funded by Arts Council England. Community Stage returns to the Dartford Festival 2016

The Community Stage will be returning to this year’s Dartford Festival and we’re looking for local dance and drama groups to perform. The hugely popular free Festival, organised by Dartford Borough Council, takes place on 16th & 17th July in the beautiful surroundings of Dartford’s Central Park. There are performance slots available on both the Saturday and Sunday, and priority will be given to Dartford-based groups. Energy Deal Scheme set to help residents save money

There’s still time to save money on your energy bills with the latest round of Energy Deal – that’s the message from Dartford Borough Council, who launched the latest round of the popular collective switching campaign on Tuesday 22nd March. Following the last round of the scheme which was launched in December, Dartford residents who signed up could have saved an average of £357.49 a year on their gas and electricity bills.
