HELLO & WELCOME

Hello there, and welcome to the first instalment of Walking With The Darts in association with Dartford Living.

My name is Chris, and it’s an honour to be given the opportunity to write for Dartford Living on behalf of Dartford FC.

I can’t think of a more productive way to spend my time whilst travelling on a coach, than to write my thoughts on recent events involving the football club.

Today we’re travelling to Suffolk, where Dartford are playing Needham Market in the Buildbase FA Trophy. Victory will see the Darts go through to the Quarter Finals of the competition, but nothing will be taken for granted, and the players will surely be prepared for a competitive game.

Having said that, Steve King’s men are surely full of confidence after registering four wins on the spin in the league. In particular, derby victories over Ebbsfleet and Welling has left everyone at the club buzzing, as the feel-good factor has returned and the recent slump forgotten.

Today’s game is important for all involved, and your continued support is essential, as always. So, if you’re unable to get to the game, be sure to listen via the club’s online radio commentary and follow us on social media this afternoon.

Of course, my report of this afternoon’s events can be found on the club’s website later this evening, and don’t forget that the latest edition of Dartford Living Magazine is out now.

Thanks for reading and COME ON YOU DARTS!!
