Dartford’s summer season of free concerts at the Bandstand in Central Park starts this Sunday, 1st May.
Organised by Dartford Borough Council, the free concerts take place between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer (except Festival weekend) until 28th August.
Audiences of all ages are welcome to borrow a free deckchair or bring a blanket and enjoy the sounds of brass, jazz and steel bands.
The Café in the Park will be open for those wishing to buy refreshments and picnics are welcome!
Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of the Council, said, “The Bandstand Concerts are always hugely popular and there’s nothing nicer than sitting in the sunshine with a cup of tea or an ice-cream and enjoying the sounds of the band on a Sunday afternoon. I look forward to seeing you there!”
