A CUT ABOVE THE REST… ASK ITALIAN DROPS MAJOR PIZZA UPGRADE

by | Feb 8, 2026 | Bluewater

Restaurant family ASK Italian has unveiled its most indulgent pizza menu ever – available now nationwide.

At the heart of the new range is a bigger, bolder format: 14-inch, round, hand-stretched pizzas, stone-baked fresh in-house and designed to (literally) spill over the plate.

The generous 10-strong ‘Pizza a Mano’ menu – meaning ‘pizza by hand’ in Italian –features craveable upgrades on classic recipes, with prices starting from £13:50.

FIERY TRIO DI CARNE Fiery ’Nduja, pepperoni, pancetta and fresh chillies on a tomato and mozzarella base, drizzled with hot honey.

CALZONE CARNE PICCANTE Folded pizza filled with pepperoni, ham, beef and red wine ragu, fresh chillies, sautéed mushrooms, tomato sauce and mozzarella.

Each pizza is made with Wildfarmed 100% regenerative flour, sumptuously topped edge-to-edge with olive oil and cheese and cut at the table with scissors for an artisanal experience.

Katy Pigg, Master Pizzaiolo at ASK Italian explains: “This isn’t your average pizza. We took everything fans love about our pizzas and elevated it to be a cut above the rest with premium ingredients, modern combinations and flavours.

“There’s a real science behind the craft. 14-inches is the optimal size for a topping balance that spreads to the edges without overloading the crust.

“Everyone knows what it’s like to cut the perfect pizza where every slice is oozing cheese and the stone-baked dough is crisp and caramelised. It makes your mouth water before you even take the first bite.”

ASK Italian Marketing Director, Jemma Townsend, says: “Our brand-new menu is a cut above the rest. People crave satisfaction and craftmanship when its comes to their pizza’

“The UK pizza scene has seen a big shift towards gourmet and artisanal styles. It’s about superior recipes and a social vibe that comes with enjoying generous pizzas that you cut with scissors – the proper way!

We’re bringing bolder toppings and authentic Italian-inspired techniques for the biggest shake up to our pizza offering in a generation.”

According to recent data, the UK is the fifth-largest consumer of pizza in Europe[1], with over 900,000 pizzas sold last year by ASK Italian alone.
