Arriva asks residents to have their say on bus routes

by | Dec 16, 2015 | Dartford News

Residents in Dartford and Gravesham are being asked to make their opinions known about recent changes to bus routes in the area. In particular, Arriva is keen to hear what people think about alterations made over the summer to services in and around Northfleet, including the 483 and 480/490.

“As our passengers know, a number of changes were made to bus routes around Northfleet and we are keen to know how well they are working for local people,” said Arriva’s marketing director Simon Baxter.

The appeal follows the recent decision, based on public consultation, to reverse alterations made to the 455 service in October and restore it to its original route with effect from 1 February 2016. Mr Baxter added: “Whenever we make changes, we get some things right, and some things need looking at a second time, as they don’t quite work as well as they should. “Now the Northfleet changes have been in place for several months it would be helpful to understand what people’s experiences have been and whether we should be making any adjustments.

“A key part of making a change is to ask our customers their views on what we’ve done and whatwe could do better.”
