Charity CXK, through its National Careers Service programme, has launched the ‘Fuller Working Lives’ project across Kent, East Sussex and Essex; a project designed to target and educate businesses about how to support the over-50s to remain in the workforce. Residents of Dartford will be among a diminishing number of British households still able to count on weekly bin collections after Dartford Council confirmed that its service will not be reduced following a consultation with local people. On Sunday 18th February The Orchard Theatre hosted a day of family fun, welcoming children into the theatre, some for the first time.
