Dartford Borough Council presents Festival fun in Dartford this Summer!

All together now – this year’s FREE Dartford Festival is lining up to be a Summer classic with a line up including Lightning Seeds, Björn Again, The Farm, James Taylor Quartet, Rhythm of the 90s, The Dunwells, Nick Corbin, Oogie Boogie Band, Maven, Wannabe, Who Are You UK plus many more – there’s sure to be something for the whole family to enjoy on the Main Stage.

Dartford Borough Council’s Summer festival takes place on the 13th and 14th July in the beautiful surroundings of Central Park, from 10.30am until 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday (timings subject to change).

Away from the main stage there’s lots going on for visitors of all ages. You can check out the talents of local dance and drama groups on the Community Stage sponsored by Howarth Timber, and explore the huge range of charity and amazing commercial stalls. Local sports clubs will also be running activity taster sessions including Dartford Valley Rugby Club and Dartford Cricket Club, so why not give them a try!

A wide range of food and drinks can be purchased on site from either of our food courts and licensed bars, or you’re welcome to bring a picnic!

Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of Dartford Borough Council said, “I’m pleased to say that the Dartford Festival returns this July with its annual celebration of live music on the main stage; as well as presenting the best of Dartford’s local dance, music and drama groups to light up the Community Stage. This year’s line up has some of the UK’s best live performers, including the Lightning Seeds and Björn Again.”
