Businesses from across Dartford gathered together at the Winter Marquee Bluewater on Thursday night to recognise and reward the achievements of the local business community.
Dartford Borough Council organised the 2018 awards with the support of a number of key sponsors, and together they sifted through a huge number of applications and nominations to come up with a final list of winners and those commendable for their efforts. The final list of triumphant businesses reflects both the diversity of industries and skills in Dartford, and the wide range of work that they have been involved with. This year’s winners are:

Jeremy Kite, Leader of Dartford Borough Council said, “It’s a real sign of confidence in our local economy that we had more entries than ever for the awards. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and reward the entrepreneurs, staff and apprentices that work so hard. I’ve heard nothing but praise for the award ceremony and it’s now an important part of the Council’s annual calendar”
Tim Harden, Owner / Manager of Harden Holidays added, “As a Dartford based business, winning this award means a great deal to us. Over the last year we have worked hard to create an exciting shop that the town can be proud of, and I think this award is a reflection of that. The evening was a lot of fun, with some top entertainment, and then to take home the award was just fantastic.”
