Choices (Formerly North Kent Women’s Aid) is appealing for toys for the children in refuge but they have to

be new please. Also gifts for mums and selection boxes. These families have fled violent

Stone Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

Stone Beavers/Cubs/Scouts are always looking for anything that would help run their

programme, like paper, felt tip pens, paint, glue, sports equipment for indoor / outdoor use,

string, rope and camping/cooking equipment. Please contact Mick on Mstrevens@aol.com



Dimples Day Nursery

Dimples Day Nursery would be grateful for any of the following: scrap paper, note pads, card,

colouring pens/pencils, fabric (shiny, silky, sheer), dressing up clothes, off cuts of wood,

children’s books, plants (tomato plants, bulbs things like that). Logs for Forest School. Please

Elm Court

Elm Court (in Priory Mews on Watling Street) would be grateful for vases books and jigsaw

puzzles  and anything else that may keep their elderly residents occupied.


The Brent Rangers (at The Brent Primary School) are grateful for any donations of

seeds, bulbs or plant pots



British Heart Foundation

British Heart Foundation will collect good quality furniture. Here is the link to arrange

Ellenor Lions Hospice


The Ellenor Lions Hospice today can take all foreign currency, no matter how small, mobile

phones, including charger, old toners from printers and clothing and bric a brac for their

shops. They will also take toiletries and goods for raffles.



Dartford Men's Shed


The Dartford Men Shed are grateful for donations of tools. Email them on

Cats Protection League


The Cats Protection League can use cat scratching posts, cat toys, food, litter, towels

KATZ collect donations of cat food via the donation box in Dartford Sainsbury’s. They also are grateful for blankets, towels

Gateway Vineyard - Dartford


Food and toiletries can be dropped off to the Gateway Vineyard Dartford on a Tuesday, Wednesday

or Thursday between 10am and 2pm. The foodbank is open on a Tuesday morning between 10am

and 12noon or Thursday afternoon between 3pm and 5pm where donations are also gratefully

received. There are further Food Bank drop-off points at St Edmund’s Church, Dartford and

Asda, Greenhithe.


Orchard Junior Scale Model Club

Orchards Junior Scale Model Club, meets in the Meeting Place, Orchards Shopping Centre every other Monday and

Alzheimers and Dementia SupportAlzheimers and Dementia Support Services have a day centre Garden Lodge based in Northfleet but, includeing Dartford area residents. They are asking for donations of wool. People could drop off to our day centre or it could be collected.
