Started by a small group of very dedicated volunteers over 50 years ago, this year marks 51 years of Dartford’s Bonfire Night and Firework Display. Hosted in Dartford Central Park each year, this year is sure to live up to the communities expectations.

Although COVID brought it to a standstill during lockdown, last years bonfire and display was amazing. With the membership of the club increasing, this year is the 2nd year for the clubs online ticket sales for the event, the tickets have already gone on sale and are available for delivery in the post directly to your door. The bonfire is expected to be lit by the Mayor of Dartford at 7.15pm followed by the fireworks display starting at 8pm. The gates to the park open from 5pm at which time the funfair, stalls and catering stations are all open to the public.  Lions club president, Lion Avtar Sandhu MBE said “ In preparation for this years sell out event, we have launched our new website with a complete online platform upon which our residents can purchase their tickets for delivery to their door. My suggestion to all residents and supporters is to arrive early so once in the park you can enjoy the stall and fairground. This is our clubs biggest fundraiser, we are all volunteers and almost all of the money raised by Dartford Lions Club is spent on the local community. The community have been amazing over the years, our clubs support has grown each year for which I would like to thank all you. I look forward to meeting you on the night.” Advance tickets are cheaper than buying tickets on the night (at the gate).

Tickets for this amazing event are available at www.DartfordLionsClub.org. Advance adults £6 advance children (5-15 years) £3

Dartford Lions Club (CIO), only as good as our supporters!
