The Orchard Theatre in partnership with Dartford Borough Council will host Dartford’s first ever Pride events from Thu 30 June to Sat 2 July.

Dartford Pride will be a celebration of the diverse LGBTQ+ community in Dartford, with the Orchard Theatre providing events that will be available for ALL to come and enjoy, including a drag club night, a disco night and a FREE, outdoor day-time event tailored for all the family to attend featuring a number of top acts including Gareth Gates, Twist and Pulse, River Medway and many more.

During Pride month, Trafalgar Entertainment has partnered with LGBTQ+ homelessness charity, akt. akt (formerly the Albert Kennedy Trust) is a charity supporting LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25 who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in hostile environments. Coming out, or being outed as LGBTQ+, can lead to young people being made homeless, and 24% of homeless young people identify as LGBTQ+. The charity aims to find these young people safe homes, employment, education or training and to celebrate their identities to improve their life outcomes. Donation points will be located throughout the venue.

All events will be held at the Orchard Theatre, widely considered to be Dartford’s main cultural hub. The venue has been working with key partners to provide these events including Glitterbomb and Tropicana Nights, the full list of events;
