Wentworth Primary School was delighted to see the return of their Easter Bonnet Parade, a tradition which has long been established in the school.
Children from Foundation through to year 2 make an Easter bonnet to parade around the school hall. Children from Key Stage 2 were challenged to create an egg inspired by famous people or book characters, with a highlight being Egg Sheeran
The event was attended by The leader of Dartford Borough Council, Jeremy Kite and the Worshipful Mayor of Dartford Paul Cutler and Deputy Mayor Rosanna Currans.
There were certificates for all children who participated with a winner from each year group received a small prize at the whole school assembly.
Headteacher, Mr Lewis Pollock, said “We are immensely proud of our children who have put the time and effort into making a bonnet with their families. We were amazed by the artistic skills on display as children were able to parade their creations around the school.”
