Dartford Borough Council is inviting local ‘not for profit’ registered charities and community groups to apply for funding as part of its new Club Together Grant Scheme.

The Club Together initiative offers grants of between £500 and £3,000 for local groups to improve the services they offer to Dartford residents.

Eligible projects must meet the set criteria and:

  • improve Dartford’s sporting provision or work towards improving club standards through accreditation or training; or
  • improve, provide or expand services for young people or older people.

Applications will be considered by a panel of councillors and successful applicants will receive their funding before the end of March.

Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of the Council, said, “The Council is once again offering funding to worthy local groups and projects through the Community Grant Scheme. It’s always great to see how the money awarded helps to improve and extend the services and activities available around the Borough.”

Full details of the scheme and an online application form are available at www.dartford.gov.uk/communitygrants. Applications and supporting documents must be received by midday on Monday 29 February 2016.
