NESPRESSO LAUNCHES NEW PERMANENT BOUTIQUE AT BLUEWATER AND TRIALS NEW STORE EXPERIENCE

by | Nov 19, 2015 | Dartford News

13th November 2015 – London, UK – Today, Nespresso has launched its new permanent boutique at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Dartford. This new boutique, which will replace the popular pop-up that was opened over the summer, will give coffee loving shoppers the opportunity to experience Nespresso’s range of quality Grand Cru coffees and machines.

The seventh boutique in the UK is located on the Upper Guildhall next to Oasis and Waterstones. Customers can be guided by the team of highly trained Coffee Specialists through the range of beautifully designed machines and accessories from Nespresso. Furthermore, they can sample the range of 23 Grand Cru coffees sourced from the top 1-2% of coffee grown globally, at the dedicated tasting area to discover their perfect blend while also receiving expert knowledge.

Responding to the consumer desire for an increasingly seamless and personalised shopping experience, this new boutique will also be the first in the UK to launch a new shopping concept developed by Nespresso. This new concept will use mobile technology and open spaces to create a more hands-on and luxurious customer experience.

Coffee Specialists will be equipped with a tablet, which allows them to spend more time with customers and take an order on the go, avoiding the need for customers to queue. At the touch of a button, the order is sent to the back office and will be ready for the customer to collect hassle-free within seconds at a small window in the coffee wall. The new consumer journey maximises quality time spent with customers and creates a seamless shopping experience.

Francisco Nogueira, Nespresso UK Managing Director, comments: “We’re excited to introduce our new boutique concept at Bluewater, inviting shoppers to experience our new approach to customer service. There is a great deal of demand for Nespresso to open new boutiques to allow customers to taste and purchase our Grands Crus. We look forward to welcoming our Club Members to experience our coffees machines and beautifully designed accessories in this luxurious setting.”

Nespresso Club Members can also return their used capsules at the Boutique so that they can be recycled. This is part of The Positive Cup program, Nespresso’s sustainability programme to make every cup a positive cup. The Bluewater boutique will also be a pick up point for online orders, with shoppers able to pick up their orders just two hours after ordering.
