Opening date announced for SEPHORA at Bluewater Shopping Centre

by | Nov 1, 2024 | Bluewater

Following the news that Sephora would continue their UK expansion at Bluewater this year, the shopping centre has announced that the new store will be opening on Wednesday 27th November. This new store location will mark Sephora’s seventh store opening since the retailer’s launch into the UK in 2022.

James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, commented: “Since we announced that Sephora would be joining our brand line-up back in August, our guests have been eager to know the exact opening date. We are delighted to be able to share the official launch date with our community, and pleased that our guests will be able to visit the new store on their Black Friday and Christmas shopping trips. There is a real buzz around this opening, especially as the brand will bring multiple of the world’s most viral beauty brands to Bluewater for the first time.”

Sarah Boyd, Managing Director at Sephora UK, said: “We are thrilled to continue this momentum of our rapid growth by opening Sephora stores in key shopping destinations such as the iconic Bluewater Shopping Centre. We have loved seeing the enthusiasm and appetite from our customers around the UK of where they would like us to show up, inspiring us to roll out more of our ‘beauty playgrounds’ and unparalleled shopping experiences to some of the nation’s most beloved retail destinations such as Bluewater.”

Like all Sephora stores, customers at the Bluewater location will be able to shop from an incredible selection of expertly curated, ground-breaking local and global brands that have disrupted the beauty industry across makeup, travel, fragrance, skincare, haircare, grooming and wellness categories. As part of the unparalleled shopping experience that Sephora strives to provide, beauty enthusiasts can indulge in the artistry of Makeup by Mario, embrace the bold creations of GXVE by Gwen Stefani, express themselves with Haus Labs by Lady Gaga and jump on the TikTok trends with new brand on the block Topicals – all of which are exclusive to Sephora UK.

Plus, customers can get their hands on viral beauty products from the likes of Glossier, Rare Beauty, Kayali, and Glow Recipe, along with the extensive and high-quality own brand Sephora Collection. From their range of bright coloured face masks to the best-selling Sephora Collection Size Up Mascara, customers can purchase from the brand’s wide and diverse collection across skincare, makeup, haircare, body care, and travel.

The beauty playgrounds of these new stores will also feature Sephora’s famous in-store beauty services for a truly immersive and transformative experience. From quick fire on the go treatments to a full hour complete ‘Glam Look’, Sephora’s incredibly talented team of Beauty Advisors will offer an array of bookable services across makeup, skincare, hair and brows. Elemis, Dermalogica and Seasonly will transform skin with their menu of facials, Benefit will bring its world-known brow expertise with its BrowBar services, and Dyson will dry style hair from beachy waves to full out bouncy curls.

The news of Sephora’s opening on 27th November follows another three brands choosing Bluewater as the location for their first Kent-based stores. Luxury cosmetics brand, Aesop, opened on 16th November, and outerwear brand Belstaff opened at the end of October. Meanwhile, Swedish fashion brand, Lindex, is set to open its doors on 28th November.
