Oxford Innovation launches The Funding Academy

by | Apr 3, 2016 | Dartford Business

“Preparation is so important when raising finance and so many businesses underestimate it. Oxford Innovation has developed The Funding Academy to prepare a business to have their best chance of raising finance and at the best rates. The choice of funders is vast and understanding the different choices is not easy without the help of an Advisor understanding your business.  The Funding Academy has been developed by entrepreneurs who have raised in excess of £150m for SME businesses and understand the difficulties they face.”

The Academy will be led by Kent Entrepreneur Keith Mabbutt along with Richard Cooper from Oxford Innovation. Keith has just been named in The Maserati 100 Index as one of Britain’s most successful businessmen supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. The Academy has only 8 spaces available on a first come, first served basis and will start on Wednesday 16 March at 8am at The Business Terrace, Maidstone.

The Finance & Funding Academy starts on Wednesday 13 April at The Business Terrace, Maidstone House, King Street, Maidstone, Kent ME15 6JQ. Teas/coffees are served on arrival. For 1-to-1 sessions you will attend at your allocated time. The first half-day session will focus on: Elevator Pitch, Raising Early Stage Finance & the Funding Landscape (Different Types of Finance). There are 7 sessions provided in total with a guaranteed introduction after your final session to the right appropriate funding provider that best suits the needs of your business.  Please bring with you to the first session an Executive Summary of your business (if you have one).
