The event was full of energy, devotion & rituals with traditionally-dressed attires by the families with kids. The event was a grand delight given the Indian Community’s presence with the true spirit and traditions followed for the auspicious event.

Event was attended by the gracious presence of following dignitaries:

  • Mr. Gareth Johnson, Member of Parliament UK
  • Cllr. Jeremy Kite MBE – Leader Dartford Borough Council
  • Cllr. Chris Shippam – Deputy Leader Dartford Borough Council
  • Lieutenant Gurvinder Sandher MBE
  • Cllr. Avtar Sandhu MBE
  • Cllr. Richard Wells – Dartford Borough Council

The children’s devotional performances were one of the highlights for the entire event. This was appreciated by all the attendees & endorsed by all the dignitaries.

Attendees were busy enjoying the event, taking videos, capturing photos & doing bhajans. On average 300 were present for the festival with home-cooked food prepared by the resident families for all 5 days.

On the last day, a short procession was carried out within the residents site followed by “Ganesh Idol Immersion”
