For the very first time Bluewater has launched The Beach, a new summer-themed destination, bringing the seaside and a whole host of family-friendly activities and games.
Local children were invited to take the first trip to The Beach at Bluewater and enjoy a spot of sandcastle building with tonnes of Kent sand while their mums and dads soaked up the sun on The Beach’s deckchairs.
Guests cooled off at the giant paddling pool, took a dip in the splash pool and even chatted to The Beach’s very own mermaids, before snacking on delicious seaside-inspired treats. The fun continued with rides on favourites such as the carousel, helter skelter and bumper-cars plus, families enjoyed new beach bouncers, rollercoaster and zorb-style water balls.
Bluewater is home to a whole host of great activities for families to enjoy this summer, alongside The Beach at Bluewater, the Gromit Unleashed Character Trail sees twelve giant colourful Gromit sculptures unleashed around Bluewater – guests can follow the trail to find them all.
Also, guests can head out to Bluewater’s award-winning Nature Trail and enjoy stunning Green Flag parkland, lakes, playgrounds and interactive games. Bluewater is also hosting three Nature Fun Days, with falconry displays, face painting, balloon modelling and nature-inspired crafts – all for free.
