The Hill Hub partners with Kent Foundation to further support SME’s and entrepreneurs

by | Dec 3, 2020 | Dartford Business, Dartford News

The Hill Hub development has transformed the old Dartford courthouse and police station where dreams and aspirations were previously curtailed; into a hub for local SME’s and entrepreneurs to dream big and succeed.

The Hill Hub not only offers workspace but also an incubation programme featuring business mentoring, workshops, and investment opportunities.

“This is a thriving place – what we have in Dartford is a mini Silicon Valley. We are particularly excited about delivering this opportunity at a time when the town was undergoing a period of huge change with two major residential projects in the works. Our partnership with Kent Foundation, a charity offering free business advice and mentoring to young entrepreneurs and business owners in the county aged 30 and under is key to delivering our incubation programme. This is really where you want to be, in-house we are going to have an incubator fund to support businesses, we are going to have a business development programme to help support businesses post-Covid.”  Said Sanmi Adegoke, CEO of The Hill Hub and Rehoboth International.

Kent Foundation is a unique charity based in Kent dedicated to providing free business mentoring, advice and support to Kent’s young entrepreneurs and business owners who wish to start or grow a business in Kent.

Every young business owner accessing support from The Kent Foundation is assigned a trained business mentor who supports them on a regular basis. In addition to mentoring, the partnership provides opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate and support each other. Innovation is driven through Mastermind and Masterclass sessions where mentees can learn from peers, sector experts and specialists to help develop ideas and good working practices.

Networking events are also planned to provide business owners to showcase and connect to the wider business community at The Hill Hub.
