ENJOY THE SEASON’S BEST INGREDIENTS WITH CÔTE BLUEWATER’S SPECIAL AUTUMN MENU

From British apples to Suffolk Pork, Côte is putting seasonality front and centre with its limited-edition Autumn Specials menu, launching on 1 September 2022.

After the non-stop hustle of summer, Côte’s new menu celebrates the changing of the seasons and the slower pace of autumnal living. Known as La Rentrée in France, it marks a return to everyday life and taking enjoyment in everything close to home. Using seasonal British ingredients, Côte has crafted a flavoursome selection of French classics set to delight diners up and down the country.

The Autumn Specials starter pays homage to the humble fig. Packed with natural sweetness, these seasonal delights are served with Bayonne ham, Roquefort dressing and beetroot.

Côte’s Moules Normande takes centre stage as this season’s main course. Rope-grown mussels from the Shetland Islands – the most sustainable form of mussel production – are served alongside sautéed leeks, British Granny Smith apples and an organic Normandy cider cream sauce. Not to be missed, guests can enjoy them as a main course or a starter.

Another delicious classic is our Pork Tomahawk. Our meat is sourced from Dingley Dell, a family farm nestled on the east coast of Suffolk. The dish is served with luxurious truffled potato purée, roasted garlic, crunchy French beans, and a smooth Calvados apple jus.

To finish the feast is an almond financier: a delicious baked French almond cake with blackberry compote, vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce. Guests can raise a glass with an Orchard Sidecar – a love letter to the modest apple – made with SASSY Calvados, Cointreau, and lemon juice.

La Rentrée is a cosy French tradition, often celebrated with reunions between family and friends after a long summer apart. And what could be better than catching up over a feast at Côte? Midweek diners can enjoy Côte’s ‘Prix Fixe’ selection, a seasonal menu of revamped French classics such as Steak Frites and Coq Au Vin. With two courses from £14.95 and three from £18.95, it’s perfect for diners seeking a treat while also keeping an eye on spending.

Available until 11th October, try the new menu at your local Côte. To book, visit www.cote.co.uk.
