The event was a heartwarming testament to the impact of Wellbeing Link over the past decade. It brought together volunteers, beneficiaries, and dignitaries, including Andy Lloyd, the Mayor of Dartford, to honour this milestone.

A Decade of Dedication
For ten years, Wellbeing Link has been a cornerstone of support in Dartford and the surrounding areas, offering assistance to those in need and fostering a sense of community. The organization’s commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of its members has been unwavering, providing invaluable services such as mental health support, physical wellbeing activities, and social integration programs.

The anniversary party was held in a beautiful garden setting, decorated to reflect the joy and pride of this significant milestone. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and gratitude as attendees reminisced about past achievements and looked forward to the future. The presence of the Mayor of Dartford along with the Mayor who launched us back in 2014 – Cllr Avtar Sandhu MBE and the last Mayor Rosanna Currans, added a touch of prestige to the event, underscoring the importance of Wellbeing Link’s contributions to the community.

A highlight of the celebration was the Awards Ceremony, recognizing the selfless dedication of the volunteers who are the backbone of Wellbeing Link. Special recognition was given to Carole, the leader in Dartford, and Nicola, the leader in Northfleet. Their leadership and commitment have been instrumental in driving both the Dartford and Northfleet groups’ success and expanding their reach.

Her decade-long commitment was celebrated with a heartfelt tribute, acknowledging her invaluable contributions and unwavering spirit.

Looking Ahead
As Wellbeing Link celebrates this significant milestone, the focus now turns to the future. The organization is committed to continuing its mission of enhancing community wellbeing and is excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. The success of the past decade is a testament to what can be achieved through collective effort and community spirit.

Our 10th anniversary party was not just a celebration of past achievements but also an expression of gratitude to all those who have supported Wellbeing Link over the years. From volunteers to community members, each contribution has played a part in building a supportive and resilient community.

As the celebrations ended, there was a palpable sense of hope and determination. With the continued support of volunteers, community members, and local leaders, Wellbeing Link is poised to make an even greater impact in the years to come.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey. Here’s to the next decade of support, growth, and wellbeing!
