ellenor Family Feast Day are you in or out?

Text FEAST to 70500 to give £10
Join ellenor and sit down and tuck in to ellenor Family Feast day with your family and friends on Wednesday 16th September. A new ellenor fundraising campaign to raise money to help families facing terminal illness. ellenor Family Feast Day is an opportunity to round up your nearest and dearest and spend quality time together with good food for a good cause. ellenor is the only charity in Kent that provides children’s hospice care at home and provides care for adults and children of all ages in North Kent and The London Borough of Bexley. ellenor understands that time is precious, and knows the true value of quality time with the people we call family is priceless. The campaign encourages families, friends, colleagues, communities to sit down for a meal at home or treat themselves to a meal out at one of our supporting restaurants and donate a contribution.
Restaurants in North Kent and Bexley who wish to participate in ellenor Family Feast Day can visit ellenor.org/signup to sign their restaurant up. ellenor has also sourced a variety of delicious recipes for you to master at home in your kitchen. If you prefer to eat in, you can download your ellenor Family Feast Starter Pack for some inspiration, recipes and information on how to donate from home. If you’d prefer to leave the cooking to someone else, or just want to treat yourselves, use the ellenor Family Feast Day restaurant locator to find participating restaurants http://ellenor.org/familyfeast/out
‘This is a wonderful way for families and friends to spend precious time together – a rarity these days, enjoying a meal and knowing they are also giving to such a vital local charity which is reliant on the community for funding. We urge people to get involved as every penny makes a difference.’ Rachel Holweger, Director of Fundraising, ellenor.
