The redevelopment of Dartford police station and magistrates’ court

Rehoboth Property International is proud to announce that planning consent has been
granted by Dartford Borough Council for the development of a new co-working space in
Dartford.

The proposed development will transform the well-known Dartford Magistrates Court and Police Station into a hub for local small businesses and entrepreneurs. The newly renovated sites will include 10,000 sq ft of co-working space, café, meeting rooms and an improved floor space.

Rehoboth Property Intl CEO, Sanmi Adegoke said: “We are delighted to have secured planning consent for this development. This iconic development will transform the vacant buildings into a vibrant community co-working space, whilst also preserving the historic context of the buildings. It will also provide a range of facilities for Dartford residents to use.”

Our co-working model encourages and facilitates a positive workspace by providing
suitable, safe, secure environments that stimulate and encourage innovation. We would like to thank all who have engaged in the planning process and helped to shape our proposals.”

Though the COVID-19 pandemic caused an economic blowout around the world and in the UK, we are optimistic that SMEs are, now more than ever, looking for affordable workspace. Consequently, we are pushing forward with the commencement of construction on site in May to allow for spaces to be available from September.

Undoubtedly, construction will be phased out as employees’ safety will be our overriding
priority. All workers will be made aware of the site operating protocols to ensure compliance with strict social distancing requirements. In an event in which an employee(s) becomes unwell, our team will be ready to deploy our rapid response procedures. It has also been made clear that these protocols will be strictly enforced, and any individual failing to uphold standards will be removed from the site.”

Mr Adegoke added “The safety and economic stability of our construction workers and
partners are of paramount importance to us. We are confident that measures have been
put in place that go above and beyond the government’s guidance for safety.”
