Home Instead Dartford has been declared a ‘5 star’ employer for a third successive time, showing that care is a worthwhile career path to take. The home care company’s employees have commended the company due to factors such as top-quality training opportunities and supportive leadership.

All employees of the home care company were invited to take part in an anonymous survey by independent employee engagement experts WorkBuzz. Home Instead Dartford is delighted to have received an impressive employee engagement score of 95, a rating that few companies achieve.

100% of care professionals said they are proud to work for Home Instead, while 100% also said their job gives them the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

The owner of Home Instead Dartford, Christina Uppenkamp, is calling for more people to come onboard and join the team who have praised the company for being a supportive employer. There are 20 care professional vacancies on offer for people who want to begin or further a career in care.

Christina Uppenkamp says, “Only organisations who go to great lengths to keep employees satisfied and valued win a 5 star employer award, so I’m delighted to have won this for three years in a row! It’s a priority for us to offer excellent training and a supportive culture. It’s wonderful to see this pay off and read so many positive reviews from our care professionals”

Steven Frost, CEO of WorkBuzz commented “Congratulations Home Instead Dartford on winning the WorkBuzz 5 star employer award! We created the programme to recognise the best workplace cultures where employees are proud to work, feel motivated, and are compelled to stay for the foreseeable future. By receiving the award, it demonstrates Home Instead’s commitment to improving the working lives of their people and enabling them to thrive.”
