Join We Are Beams and Get Messy to Make a Difference

by | May 7, 2025 | Dartford Charities

We Are Beams is thrilled to announce the return of its much-loved Messy Dash, a colourful and fun-filled fundraising event set to take place on Sunday, 6th July at Dartford Central Park.

Perfect for all ages and abilities, the 2.5km course will see participants walk or jog through a spectacular series of colourful stations – complete with slime, water, powder paint and unexpected surprises. The event is fully wheelchair accessible and promises fun for the whole family.

This year’s Messy Dash will be bigger, better and messier than ever, with two waves of action to accommodate more participants and double the excitement.

Luke Cashin, Fundraising Manager at We Are Beams is delighted for the return of the event  “Messy Dash is more than just a fun day out – it’s a way for the community to come together and make a real difference in the lives of local children with disabilities. Every splash, every laugh, every step taken on the course helps provide essential support to families who need it most.”

All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting disabled children and their families through Beams vital care support services including Family Advice, Respite Care and Summer Play Schemes.

We Are Beams believe that even children with the most complex disabilities can thrive and reach their full potential with the right support.

So join us, get messy, and make a meaningful impact in your community.

Sign up today and let the colourful chaos begin!

Kindly sponsored by Dartford Borough Council, Magrock and Dartford Living
