by | Jun 12, 2026 | Bluewater, What's On? | 0 comments

Bluewater is set for an action-packed summer as one of the world’s largest inflatable assault courses, The Monster, arrives during the summer holidays, with tickets on sale now.

From Saturday 18th July to Monday 31st August, the Kent shopping and leisure destination will transform the surrounding area into a giant playground with 300 metres of inflatable madness. Packed with more than 40 obstacles including the 18-metre Mayhem Mega Slide, the chaotic Chaos Climb, and the infamous Tumble Tunnel, The Monster promises unforgettable fun for all ages*.

Following sold-out tours across Canada, USA, Mexico and Abu Dhabi, and sell-out shows at venues including London’s Alexandra Palace, Braintree Village in Essex, and Birmingham’s NEC, this will be the first time The Monster has appeared in Kent – and is set to be one of the biggest events Bluewater has ever hosted.

The Monster will open from 10am – 9pm every day with guests able to complete as many laps of The Monster as they’d like during their 60 minutes. The daily sessions are:

  • From 10am-11am, Quiet Sessions offering all the bounce and none of the noise. These lower-capacity sessions are capped at 100 guests and run without music or announcements. Ideal for guests who prefer a more relaxed environment.
  • Between 11am – 7pm every day, All Ages Sessions, showcasing party music, lighting effects and videoclips on the giant screen, plus festival-style food & drinks, and entertainment zones open all day.
  • From 7pm – 9pm, The Monster will be Adults Only**, with DJs taking to the stage Thursdays to Sundays for interactive karaoke, plus a full bar, late-night food and festival vibes.
  • Selected Saturday sessions will see The Monster’s surrounding arena reimagined as a high‑energy foam party, with a dedicated 7 – 8pm Adults Only slot combining DJs, karaoke and immersive foam effects for a standout festival experience.

For those taking part in the Monster action or just spectating, the event arena will be a hub of activity, with giant Jenga and Connect 4, a chalk graffiti board, Monster Ping-Pong, food and drink vendors including a fully stocked bar, and festival atmosphere. The event arena will offer guests plenty of reasons to enjoy a full day out at The Monster this summer.

James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, commented: “We can’t wait to welcome The Monster to Bluewater this summer. It’s such a unique, exciting attraction that will bring something totally new to the area – with different sessions planned to cater for all ages and audiences. We always see such positive reactions to the special events we bring to Bluewater, and we’re certain that this is going to be the most hotly anticipated yet.”

General admission tickets are priced at £18 each, or £15 each for group bookings of more than 6 people. A booking fee is payable per ticket. Tickets for spectators are priced at £3 each which permits entry into the entertainment space but not access to The Monster inflatable assault course. Children must be aged 5 years and 1 metre tall to participate, under 4’s can spectate for free.

Members of Bluewater’s rewards programme, PLUS+, will receive a reduced general admission ticket price of £15 per person.

The Monster will be in The Village car park, in the same location as Winterland. Ticket purchases can be made by visiting: https://www.bluewater.co.uk/en/the-monster
