Dartford town centre’s getting ready to sparkle and shine at this year’s Big Christmas Switch On which takes place on Saturday 14th November. Mister Maker, Jamie Johnson and Orchard Theatre pantomime stars Malcolm Lord & Pete Gallagher will be appearing on stage from 2pm as the countdown to switching on Dartford’s Christmas lights begins. Paddington™ will also be appearing at intervals throughout the afternoon. There will also be performances from Orfila, DAODS and the cast of New Jersey Nights.
The performers will be joined on stage by the Mayor of Dartford Councillor Ian Armitt, Father Christmas and our colouring competition winner to switch on the lights at 5.30pm.
In addition to the acts and entertainment on the stage in the High Street, there will be lots of family entertainment and giveaways around the town centre.
