Dartford Borough Council and the Healthy Living Centre Dartford are teaming up to run a Men’s Health and Wellbeing Group this summer.
The Group will meet one evening a week for 12 weeks, starting in May 2016, at Dartford Football Club, Grassbanks, Dartford DA1 1RT.
With a focus on improving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the Group will help and encourage participants to increase their activity levels, eat healthily and cook good, nutritious food, all in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Councillor Marilyn Peters, Lead Member for Health & Wellbeing, said, “Some men may not be keen on seeking help and advice when it comes to their health and wellbeing, but this offers them a great opportunity to make improvements in a supportive men-only group.”
