MISSION IMPUDSEYBLE RAISES OVER £300 FOR BATTERSEA DOGS & CATS HOME WITH HELP FROM BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT WINNERS ASHLEIGH & PUDSEY

by | Jun 2, 2016 | Dartford Charities

Ashleigh & Pudsey, everyone’s favourite Britain’s Got Talent champions were at The Orchard Theatre in Dartford on Sunday 29 – Monday 30 May starring in a brand new interactive spy adventure, Mission Impudseyble. At the end of the show the cast took to the floor with bucket collections to help raise money for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Brands Hatch. The cast were joined by X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother finalist Stevi Ritchie and together they all helped to raise a fantastic £339.82.

Leslie Gold, Regional Community Fundraiser at Battersea Dogs &Cats Home said: “Battersea needs to raise £18.4 million every year to care for the 8,000 lost and abandoned dogs and cats that come through its doors. We rely on the generosity and support of the public to help care for our animals so we’d like to say a huge thank you to the Dartford Theatre, and especially Ashleigh and Pudsey, who have helped raise these vital funds to support our world renowned charity. Fundraising activities like these will help us raise money to care for dogs like Alaskan Malamute Theo who has been at our Kent centre for nearly 600 days – more than 13 times longer than the average stay for a dog. It can sometimes seem Mission Impudseyble to find the perfect homes for our countryside cats and canines but there’s no time limit on how long a dog can be cared for at Battersea. After waiting patiently for well over a year though, Theo really deserves a second chance and a home to call his own.”
