Bluewater is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Green Flag status for the second year running for its stunning parkland, which spans a staggering 50 acres.
To celebrate, Bluewater is hosting a series of fantastic Nature Fun Days for families to enjoy over the summer. Located by the picturesque Swan Lake on Bluewater’s popular Nature Trail, guests are invited on Friday 11th and Friday 25th August to learn more about the great British wildlife in the area, whilst enjoying an array of fun activities.
Free to attend, there will be nature-themed arts and crafts, falconry, face painting and much more. The great outdoors at Bluewater is also home to three children’s playgrounds, including sandpits and climbing areas – perfect for picnics and family walks.
There’s no need to book to attend the Fun Days, just head to Swan Lake on Bluewater’s Nature Trail between 11am and 4pm to take part in the entertainment.
The beautifully maintained parkland is among a record-breaking 1,797 parks and green spaces nationwide that have received a prestigious Green Flag Award – the mark of a quality park or green space that boasts the highest possible standards and has excellent visitor facilities.
