Dartford Toy Appeal 4 Announced

by | Oct 16, 2017 | Dartford Charities

Dartford Living volunteers, in association with Stephen Oliver: Studio and Gallery, are thrilled to announce Dartford Toy Appeal 4.

Dartford Toy Appeal 4 PosterWe launched in 2014 as a small appeal to provide toys for children who had been affected by domestic abuse. Following a phenomenal response we have expanded the appeal every year – last year we collected over 1,000 brand new toys and gifts. Local people want to help others at Christmas, especially children, and this is a fantastic way to get involved. Run completely by volunteers in the community, 100% of donations go to charities. This year we are collecting for local charities working with children and local young people.

Please take a new toy or gift along to one of our drop off points between 15th November and 16th December. We will also be happy to take wrapping paper, toiletries and new children’s books.

OUR CHARITIES THIS YEAR INCLUDE:

Darent Valley Hospital Charity – Raising funds across Darent Valley Hospital (DVH) – specifically this year the Dartford Toy Appeal will be providing gifts for children attending A+E this Christmas.

Home-Start North West Kent – offering friendship, support and practical help to families within the local community.

ellenor – hospice working with children with terminal and life limiting illnesses.
