The new Mayor of Dartford, Councillor Paul Cutler, was elected at the Annual Council meeting on 11 May 2022.
Councillor Cutler is married to Suzanne, the new Mayoress, and the couple have four children Charlotte, Emily, James and Annabelle, who all attended local schools.
Councillor Cutler was first elected to Dartford Borough Council in 2012 and represents Stone Castle Ward.
Members of Dartford Borough Council elect a new Mayor at a General Council meeting every 12 months.
Councillor Cutler has lived in Stone for nearly 28 years but was originally from South East London, and was born in Greenwich. He spent the majority of his working career in corporate sales, working for Xerox UK, and he also lived in Manhattan, New York City, for a year in his early 20’s.
Most recently he worked at The Leigh UTC at the Bridge development before retirement beckoned.
The new Mayor enjoys cooking, eating, entertaining with friends and family and also loves gardening and an occasional pint at his local, the Lads of the Village.
The family have a pet dog called Chubs who enjoys a daily walk around Stone.
The Mayor’s Charity Appeal for 2022-23 will support three charities: Care for Veterans, Cancer Research UK and the Arrow Riding School.
