Landsec has announced Coach, the leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories for women and men, will be launching its first store in the South East at Bluewater this September. The new 1,750 sq ft Coach store will be located on the Lower Guildhall, adjacent to House of Fraser.
Coach will create an authentic modern luxury look and feel for the Bluewater boutique, including leather furniture and bespoke fittings to showcase the full range of men’s and women’s products available.
Joining Coach on the Guildhall is Godiva, the Belgian chocolatier, with the brand opening a 600 sq ft store on the upper level, opposite Zara. The store will feature Godiva’s signature truffle-based products and speciality chocolate lines. An in-house team will translate the brand’s distinctive ‘Lady Godiva’ ethos into the interior, which will use dark woods and an opulent colour palette. Godiva will open this autumn.
The famous natural and organic health and beauty brand, Neal’s Yard Remedies, completes the trio of signings at Bluewater this summer. The brand’s new 495 sq ft store will be located at the entrance to the Village Arcade on the Lower Guildhall and will feature the full range of luxury products for men and women.
Russell Loveland, Portfolio Director at Landsec, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, said: “Coach is another great addition to Bluewater’s line-up of prestigious international retailers, with their boutique complementing our existing comprehensive range of the very best of brands from around the world.
“Both Godiva and Neal’s Yard Remedies are two very popular luxury additions and will have strong appeal amongst our guests, and both brands highlight Bluewater’s position as Europe’s leading retail and leisure destination.”
President of Coach Europe Andrew Stanleick said: “Coach are delighted to open in Bluewater this autumn as it is known as a fantastic shopping destination. We look forward to launching the Coach modern luxury experience and collections to the South East.”
Coach, Godiva and Neal’s Yard Remedies are the latest in a series of international brands to focus on Bluewater, following the opening of Smashbox and its first store in the South East at Bluewater and, most recently, Missguided, who launched their first store outside of London earlier this month.
