Lions are roaring to go !
This year marks the 40th Fireworks Night hosted by the Dartford Lions Club in Central Park Dartford on Saturday 5th November. Marked in the clubs calendar as their largest fundraising event of the year since first starting the event back in the late 1970’s, the event has grown each year. Supported by local businesses, community groups and volunteers the clubs membership and presence within the Dartford community has grown enormously. The team of Lions Club members and supporters shall begin selling tickets for the Firework Display at various locations in Dartford Front the start of October. Advanced tickets are priced at £5 adults and £3 for children. Tickets are expected to sell quickly as in previous years, this event is always a great success and is attended but residents and Lions Club supporters of ALL ages. Lion President Barbara Whitehead said “I’m overwhelmed by the support offered by members and supporters for this event each year. Our organisation is only as good as the people who help us in running such events, for this we are ALL extremely grateful”.
