ellenor Accumulator Challenge

by | Jul 3, 2018 | Dartford Charities

Four months, a £50 stake and the chance to raise as much money for ellenor as your company can!

What is the Accumulator Challenge?

The Accumulator Challenge is a local initiative that will see businesses in the community competing against each other to raise as much as possible for ellenor. Ellenor will give your company a crisp £50 note and three months to find ways of increasing it as much as you can. You can be as creative as you dare to be, as long as you keep it safe and legal!

Why take part?

Getting your company involved with the Accumulator Challenge is a fantastic way to engage staff and inject a little fun into the workplace. We will be there to support you along the way and your dedicated contact from ellenor will be on hand to help you with your fundraising ideas. By taking part, your company will be advertised on our website and social media pages throughout the challenge. The winners will be mentioned in any press releases sent out once the challenge is complete; this will be judged on not only who raises the most money, but who comes up with the most creative fundraising ideas. However you decide to complete the challenge, this is an ideal opportunity to encourage teamwork, develop creativity, boost morale amongst staff and engage with your local community!

Why ellenor?

ellenor is a charity funded by the generosity of our local community, offering the best care and support to families facing terminal illness in Kent. We are the only charity in the county that provides hospice care for people of all ages – babies, children and adults – and their families. This includes pain and symptom relief, end of life care, respite, bereavement support and emotional and spiritual care.

Our Children’s Hospice Care, formerly known as chYps, is provided in the comfort of the family home and spans across North and West Kent and the London Borough of Bexley. Adults living in Gravesham, Dartford and Swanley, receive care in their place of choice, including their own homes, at our Hospice in Gravesend and in local care homes.

ellenor is your charity, not part of the NHS, and relies on the community to continue our vital work.

How can we join?

To join you will need to complete the sign-up sheet. After registering for the challenge we will arrange a date to meet with you, give you your £50 stake money (a great photo opportunity!) and discuss your fundraising ideas. We ask all companies taking part to sign a contract to confirm that they will return at least this sum at the end of the challenge.
