ELLENOR HOSPICE FIRE WALK 2019

by | Oct 22, 2019 | Dartford Charities, Dartford News, Health

Walk over hot coals to support your local hospice!

Put your bravery to the test at ellenor’s Fire Walk 2019, an unforgettable night of fun, fire and friends all in support of your local hospice. You don’t need any experience, just a big dose of courage, as you walk over burning embers of up to 550°C! ellenor’s popular Fire Walk returns to Dartford Football Club this year and they are encouraging supporters to join them in raising vital funds for local families facing terminal illness.

This fabulous fiery event is great for groups, so why not put a team together and face the fire together?

“Last year was the first time we held the Fire Walk at Dartford Football Club and we were blown away by the success of the event, which raised over £10,000 for ellenor. We are aiming to make the event even bigger and better this year and hope to see even more people from the community taking on the challenge in support of their local hospice. Together we can raise awareness and funds so that ellenor can continue to deliver vital services to people in need.” Emma Bowles, Senior Events Fundraiser

ellenor’s Fire Walk takes place on Friday 1 November at Dartford Football Club. There will be entertainment from The Big Sing and stalls to keep your guests entertained! This year’s Fire Walk has been kindly sponsored by local business Elite Aesthetics. The CEOs of Elite Aesthetics, Jay Shah and Shirin Lakhani said: “We are delighted to sponsor the ellenor Fire Walk for a second year. ellenor are a wonderful charity that does so much to help so many in our local community.”

Registration opens at 6pm, with a compulsory briefing starting at 6.45pm.  Registration in advance is recommended and costs £25 (closes on Thursday 31st October). On the night registration costs £35. All participants are asked to raise £100 in sponsorship.
