There’s still time to save money on your energy bills with the latest round of Energy Deal – that’s the message from Dartford Borough Council, who launched the latest round of the popular collective switching campaign on Tuesday 22nd March.

Following the last round of the scheme which was launched in December, Dartford residents who signed up could have saved an average of £357.49 a year on their gas and electricity bills.

Residents can register to take part in the latest round until Monday 16th May 2016. Energy suppliers will then be invited to compete with their best offer at an energy auction on Tuesday 17th May. Residents registered with Energy Deal will be sent a personalised offer showing the winning tariff, which they can then decide whether they want to accept.

Dartford Borough Council is working in partnership with Dover, Gravesham, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells Councils to operate the Energy Deal Scheme

Residents who need help to register can visit a drop-in session on Wednesday 11th May at The Meeting Place in the Orchards Shopping Centre between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. They will need to bring their latest bills and energy statement to this session.

Following the auction, residents with any questions regarding their personal offer can attend a drop-in session on Wednesday 15th June between 1pm and 4.30pm at The Meeting Place in the Orchards Shopping Centre.
