Free webinar to help make managing medications easier for patients

by | Jan 31, 2026 | Health, NHS

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) is hosting a free public webinar to help people better understand how medicine services can support independence and wellbeing.

If you, or someone you care for, often struggle to manage your medicines safely, this managing medicines and maintaining independence webinar is for you. You will hear from pharmacy professionals explaining the range of support available through KCHFT pharmacy teams, as well as community pharmacies, GP practices and primary care networks.

Michelle Hoad, KCHFT Lead Pharmacist said: “Taking medicines is an important part of staying well, but it can also feel complicated – especially when managing several prescriptions, supporting a loved one, or trying to remain independent at home.”

Join our webinar from 6 to 7pm on Wednesday, 11 February to find out:

  • how pharmacy teams can help with medication reviews, side effects and managing multiple medicines
  • how medicines can be better fitted into everyday life to support independence
  • the different pharmacy services available across Kent and Medway
  • what each service offers and how the public can access support.

Michelle added: “The webinar will also explain why medication reviews are offered, what happens during a review and how they can help improve safety, reduce unnecessary medicines and support your wellbeing.”

Following a presentation, attendees will be able to take part in a question and answer session, with pharmacy colleagues available to provide advice and signposting to help you get more information about your medicines.

Register for the session.
