Bestselling author and chart topping podcaster, Giovanna, to meet fans from 2pm on Sunday 23rd February

Bluewater Waterstones is delighted to welcome Giovanna Fletcher to the store for a ticketed event. Giovanna will be meeting fans and signing copies of her book, ‘Letters on Motherhood’, on Sunday 23rd February at 2pm.

British author, presenter, actress, blogger, and vlogger, Giovanna Fletcher has written several fiction novels, including her heartwarming debut, Billy and Me. She has also ventured into non fiction with, Happy Mum, Happy Baby, and co-wrote Eve of Man with her husband Tom Fletcher.

Letters on Motherhood

From the author of number one bestselling Happy Mum, Happy Baby and the chart-topping podcast of the same name, comes a beautiful collection of heartfelt and deeply personal letters written to her three young sons Buzz, Buddy and Max, husband, Tom, and the family and friends who have inspired and supported her to become the mother that she is today.

Giovanna shares the funny and moving personal tales of her own family life whilst also talking about the deeper universal truths of parenting, from coping with mum guilt, finding a work/family life balance, positive body image, rediscovering a sense of identity and a parent’s hopes, fears and expectations for their child’s future.

But Motherhood is not without its lows either: tears and tantrums (your child’s and your own!), fears, self-doubt ad sleepless nights. One minute your heart is bursting with love and pride as you watch your family grow, the next you are practically on your knees with exhaustion, overwhelmed by the never-ending to do list. Motherhood is a rollercoaster.

This event is a ticketed event only. To purchase your ticket please visit Waterstones.com/events.
