Have you been discharged from Darent Valley Hospital recently?

We need to hear your experience

If you have had been discharged from Darent Valley Hospital within the last six months, we want to hear from you.

A number of people have contacted Healthwatch from all over Kent to share with us their experiences of discharge from hospital. They tell us that their experience is not always what it should be.

We want to explore this further.  Tell us about your experience. Was it good?  Could it have been improved?

In the coming months we will be visiting Darent Valley hospital to talk to patients who are being discharged that day. We’ll then be following those patients to wherever they go next, be it a Care Home, Community Hospital, Gravesham Place or their own home.

Healthwatch’s Steve Inett said, “If you, or your family, has been discharged from Darent Valley Hospital we would really like to hear from you.  We want to hear the good and the not so good.  We will use your experience to help improve services for others so do please get in touch.  We won’t share your information with anyone else, it will be completely anonymous.”

You can share your story with us in the following ways:

  • Email us at info@healthwatchkent.co.uk and tell us your experiences
  • Share your experience on the phone by calling us for FREE on 0808 801 0102
  • We can post you a questionnaire – just call or email us your address
  • We can come and talk to you at home face to face.  Ring us on 0808 801 0102 to organise a visit.
