Mick Jagger Centre Celebrates 25 Years with Arts Festival & Community Extravaganza

The Mick Jagger Centre is proud to celebrate its 25th Anniversary, marking 25 years of inspiring creativity and community spirit in Dartford. To honour this milestone, the Centre is launching a brand-new Arts Festival, beginning with a vibrant Community Festival Day on Saturday, 11th October 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

This free, family-friendly event will be packed with exciting activities and entertainment for all ages, including:

  • Live performances from local community groups and Dartford musicians
  • Creative craft activities for children and adults
  • Dance demonstrations showcasing local talent
  • Chess challenge for all skill levels- play against a Chess Master.
  • Free workshops to explore your artistic side
  • Fun inflatables and face painting
  • Delicious food vans serving a variety of treats

The Community Festival Day is a celebration of Dartford’s rich cultural landscape and the Centre’s legacy of supporting the arts. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and help us mark this special occasion.

Come and celebrate 25 years of creativity, community, and culture!

Following the Community Festival Day, we are hosting an autumn season of music, dance and drama with an international flavour, including Kathkali Dance from South India, Sacconi String Quartet, Blues and Roots Jazz Ensemble, and Bhangra Night Live. Our festival finale we will be a spectacular concert from Dartford Symphony Orchestra including new orchestrations of some classic Rolling Stones music.
