New Citizens Advice offices in the Copperfields development on Spital Street, Dartford Town Centre will be officially opened by Jeremy Kite, Leader of Dartford Borough Council on Wednesday 30th January at 10.30am.

Volunteers, staff and trustees will also be on hand to unveil a plaque to mark the opening, as well as liaise with sponsors who have donated funds towards the new offices.

Angela Newey, Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Advice in North & West Kent said, “We are delighted to be welcoming Jeremy Kite to formally open our new office in Dartford. Our team of committed volunteers and staff are looking forward to showing guests our new premises in the heart of Dartford town centre.”

Council Leader Jeremy Kite said, “I’m very pleased to be officially opening the new Citizens Advice here in Dartford. They provide an invaluable service to our community and it’s great that people have a reliable place to go to for advice around important and sometimes complex matters.”

Trained advisers at the new office are available for a drop-in service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.00am to 2.30pm, or customers can also call the advice line on 0300 330 9001 from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday for on the spot assistance or to make an appointment. Specialist appointments in money advice, benefits and housing are also provided on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Sponsors of the new building include Big Lottery Fund, Kent County Councillors Penny Cole, Peter Harman and Jan Ozog, who provided funds from the Kent members’ grant and the London Legal Trust. Dartford Borough Council funds the advice provision in Dartford.
