New Fund Launched to Support Community Groups in Dartford

Kent Community Foundation is delighted to be working in partnership with Dartford Borough Council to provide funding for community and voluntary groups operating across the unparished areas of Dartford – covering the west and north of the borough, including Dartford town and surrounding neighbourhoods.

The new Dartford Borough Council Community Infrastructure Fund will award grants of up to £10,000 to support both revenue and capital costs, helping local groups deliver projects that make a positive difference in their communities.

Funding for this initiative has been made available through Dartford Borough Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy.

The Dartford Borough Council Community Infrastructure Fund will award grants for

  • Community Facilities and Public Spaces
  • Play Spaces
  • Arts and Cultural Activities
  • Environmental Improvements
  • Healthy Community Activities
  • Community Learning

To support organisations interested in applying, a launch event hosted by Kent Community Foundation and Dartford Healthy Living Centre will be held on Tuesday 7 October,between 10am and 12.30pm at Temple Hill Community Centre, Temple Hill Square, Dartford, DA1 5HY.

Attendees will be able to hear more about the grants scheme and speak directly with the Kent Community Foundation team.

The deadline to apply for financial support is Friday 7 November 2025
