NHS Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Clinical Commissioning Group is inviting local residents to come forward with their views on the future site of a new Urgent Treatment Centre.
A series of three public consultation events are being held across the CCG area to give local people the chance to discuss and give their feedback on the proposed two options, which are to locate the Urgent Treatment Centre at either Darent Valley Hospital or Gravesham Community Hospital.
These events will be held on Monday 7 October at Princes Suite, Princes Park Stadium, Darenth Road, Dartford DA1 1RT; Wednesday 16 October at Alexandra Suite, St Mary’s Road, Swanley BR8 7BU; and Wednesday 30 October at Kent Room, Gravesham Civic Centre, Windmill Street, Gravesend DA12 1AU. The meetings will take place between 6-8pm and refreshments will be provided.
Dr Nigel Sewell, local GP and Urgent Care Clinical Lead for the CCG said: “We’ve had a great response to our public consultation so far and thank you to everyone who has contributed already. But we want to encourage more local people to come forward and have their say about where we should put the new Urgent Treatment Centre. These public meetings offer a great opportunity for the public to hear more about our plans to improve urgent care services and give us more detailed feedback about the proposals.”
