“There is something for everyone to enjoy including first class choreography, music and lyrics”
By Lisa Roach for Dartford Living
I have been having a blast at the Orchard again this week watching Heathers the Musical – a dark comedy rock musical based on the cult 1989 film.
High school student, Veronica Sawyer, just wants to be liked. When she joins the externally beautiful (but internally ugly) Heathers, her dreams of becoming popular start to come true. However, troubled teen, JD , blows up that bubble.
The show contains mature themes and strong language (hence the age guidance of 14+) as well as loud noises and strobe lighting.
Grease meets Mean Girls at the Breakfast Club in this colourful show of teenage angst but there is a surprising amount of humour to lighten the darkness.
There is something for everyone to enjoy including first class choreography, music and lyrics whilst shining a light on gritty subjects that are still relevant today.
The show is on until Saturday 27th May, so get some old school friends together and buy your tickets now. You will be guaranteed ‘BigFun’. You’re Welcome!
