This September, The Orchard Theatre has a wide variety of shows on offer to capture audience imaginations of all ages including Dirty Dancing, Jane MacDonald, Chinese State Circus, Rehearsal for Murder, The Counterfeit Stones, Stick Man, Sixties Gold and The Sound of Music and many more!

Producers Karl Sydow and Paul Elliott have announced that a brand new production of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage will tour the UK from August 2016. The classic story of Baby and Johnny, featuring the hit songs Hungry Eyes, Hey! Baby, Do You Love Me? and the heart stopping I’ve Had The Time Of My Life, will return will be at The Orchard Theatre, Dartford from Thursday 1 September – Saturday 10 September.

Showbiz legend and media favourite Jane McDonald is taking to the road this September with her Making Memories show and will be at The Orchard Theatre on Sunday 11 September. Packed full of phenomenal songs and arrangements.

Gandey World Class Productions are pleased to announce the sensational return of the world renowned Chinese State Circus for a major UK theatre and will be visiting The Orchard Theatre on Monday 12 September. It’s more than a show, throughout its time this production has aimed to embody a rich tapestry of Chinese art, history and culture which can be dated back over 2000 years.

The Counterfeit Stones celebrate their 25 th anniversary with yet another glam-bake, 25 x 5 at The Orchard Theatre on Saturday 17 September. ‘The Most Famous Stones Band In England’ as quoted by Sir Mick Jagger himself, are touring the UK with a new riff packed show that’s set to leave their fans gasping.

Following the phenomenal decade-long success of The Agatha Christie Theatre Company, which sold over two million tickets and continually played to packed houses across the UK, Bill Kenwright launches The Classic Thriller Theatre Company’s first production Rehearsal For Murder at The Orchard Theatre from Monday 19 – Saturday 24 September.

Chris & Pui present their family show with songs, comedy sketches, a dash of magic and heaps of joining in for all the family on Sunday 18 September. Familiar Chris & Pui TV characters including Incy Wincy, Twinkle, Old MacDonald, Humpty, Granny Humpty will be dropping in along with the toys – Tom, Momo, Teddington, Stuffy and Miss Mouse.

In 1976 Brotherhood of Man won the Eurovision Song Contest with their much loved song ‘Save Your Kisses For Me’. Making this their 40 th Anniversary year they are proud to boast the original Eurovision line up of Nicky Stevens, Sandra Stevens, Martin Lee and Lee Sheridan on Sunday 18 September.
