The Ice Rink and Winterland to return to Bluewater this Christmas

by | Nov 1, 2025 | Bluewater | 0 comments

Bluewater has announced that its Christmas activities, the Ice Rink and Winterland, are set to return for Christmas 2025.

The Ice Rink will return from Friday 7th November until Sunday 4th January 2025, whereas Winterland will be open from Saturday 8th November until Sunday 11th January 2026. Both activities will be situated outside the Village, near Zizzi’s.

Offering plenty of fun for guests of all ages, the undercover Ice Rink will be open every day until Sunday 4th January (excluding Christmas Day) and will run quiet sessions, as well as parent and toddler sessions for budding skaters. Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones, and the Ice Rink’s party nights are back by popular demand – playing classic party anthems to soundtrack your skating session.

Tickets for the Ice Rink are on sale now, with an early bird discount of 20% off full price tickets for a limited time.*

Bluewater’s magical outdoor, festive event, Winterland, will invite guests to enjoy winter-themed funfair rides – including the brand-new for 2025 Traditional Waveswinger, alongside an exciting range of white-knuckle rides and family favourites like the bumper cars and waltzers.

It will also feature a luminaire promenade and heart shaped lighting which will light the way to the festive fun and provide an Instagrammable backdrop for guests. What’s more, the 40-metre-high Observation Wheel will be returning once again, providing guests with spectacular views over Bluewater and the surrounding award-winning parkland.

James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, commented: “Christmas truly is one of the most magical times of the year here at Bluewater. We are thrilled to be welcoming back our much-loved Ice Rink and Winterland, which offer fantastic fun for all ages.

“Our festive attractions always prove incredibly popular, so we encourage guests to book early to guarantee their visits. We’ll also be announcing more information about our other activities taking place here this festive season in due course, so please keep an eye out for updates.”

The news around the return of Bluewater’s Winterland and Ice Rink follows the opening of several festive pop-ups including Christmas Supermarket and official merch provider, Fan Club, which are located on the Upper Rose Gallery, alongside Christmas Magic on the Upper Thames Walk.

Tickets for the Ice Rink are now on sale. For further information, and to book tickets please visit https://bluewater.co.uk/

*Excludes 2 for 1 sessions.
