Winterland at Bluewater is returning this Christmas, offering a whole host of fun activities for all ages. Opening on Saturday 13th November, Winterland is a magical outdoor, festive event where guests can enjoy winter-themed funfair rides, games, and attractions. The luminaire promenade will light the way into the festive fun and provide an Instagrammable backdrop for guests!

There will be an exciting range of white-knuckle rides at Winterland, including the 40m Blizzard and No Limit, along with family favourites – the bumper cars and waltzers!

To fight the chill and get into the festive spirit, guests can sip a hot mulled wine or winter spiced cider, whilst children can enjoy a deluxe hot chocolate. There will also be a great range of food on offer including a traditional German swing grill, as well as sweet treats such as crêpes and churros.

Winterland will be open from Saturday 13th November until Monday 3rd January. During term time, hours of operation will be 4pm – 9pm on Fridays and 12pm – 9pm on Saturdays & Sundays. From Friday 17th December until Monday 3rd January, hours of operation will be 12pm – 9pm daily (except Christmas Day).

Entry to Winterland costs £3 per person, with tokens for rides and stalls available to purchase on site. To ensure entry and avoid the queues, guests are encouraged to pre-book their entry tickets online.

Also returning to Bluewater for Christmas 2021 is the outdoor, undercover Ice Rink. Located outside The Village, the outdoor rink will sit under a clear roof, making it the perfect activity come rain, snow, or shine this festive season.

Offering plenty of fun for guests of all ages, the Ice Rink will be running quiet sessions, as well as parent and toddler sessions for budding skaters. Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones, as well as bob skates to help guests stay steady on the ice.

The ice rink’s party nights are back by popular demand this year, with live DJs playing classic party anthems to soundtrack your skating session.

Bluewater’s Ice Rink will be open from Thursday 18th November until Sunday 2nd January. During term time, hours of operation will be 12noon – 8pm Mondays to Fridays, with disco night sessions from 8pm-9pm on Fridays, 10am – 8pm on Saturdays, and 10am-7pm on Sundays. Bluewater will be bringing back The Giving Tree for its 8th year this festive season, to support local disadvantaged children. The Giving Tree will be at Bluewater from Thursday 25th November – Wednesday 22nd December.

The Giving Tree invites shoppers at Bluewater to donate a gift directly to more than 50 local charities this Christmas. Shoppers select a gift tag from the tree to reveal the name and age of the child they can buy a present for. Once purchased, the gift should be brought back to the tree unwrapped and will be placed into the giant gift donation box ready for distribution.

Bluewater will have a ‘Tap to Donate’ stand again this year, allowing those who are time-poor, but still want to make a real difference this Christmas, to donate via contactless payment.

This Christmas, the perfect gift for adrenaline junkies will be tickets to the UK’s newest visitor attraction, Hangloose Adventure – Bluewater. Over November and December, they will be selling exclusive gift packages of tickets for their upcoming 2022 attractions.

Europe’s largest Giant Swing will be the next attraction to open at Hangloose Adventure, followed by The Skydive outdoor skydiving experience in May. Of course, their staple attraction Skywire – England’s longest and fastest zip wire – will be included as part of their Christmas gift packages.

Offers will include: 2 activities for £100, or 3 activities for £150 with all packages bundled with photos and videos as standard issue. Gift vouchers will be valid for 18 months from the date of purchase.

The minimum age to ride is 8 years old, and all children under 16 must have a parent or guardian onsite with them. Tickets are available at https://hangloosebluewater.com.
