Community Stage returns to the Dartford Festival 2016

The Community Stage will be returning to this year’s Dartford Festival and we’re looking for local dance and drama groups to perform.

The hugely popular free Festival, organised by Dartford Borough Council, takes place on 16th & 17th July in the beautiful surroundings of Dartford’s Central Park.

There are performance slots available on both the Saturday and Sunday, and priority will be given to Dartford-based groups.

To apply for the opportunity to take to the stage please email your group’s details, a YouTube clip of the group performing and your preferred performance date to festival@dartford.gov.uk by Friday 20th May. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 10th June.

Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of the Council, said, “It’s great that we’ve been able to bring the Community Stage back to the Festival this year, and look forward to it showcasing some of Dartford’s great talented groups.”
